Bronny James sets up father LeBron in Lakers win

Bronny James Delivers Historic Assist to Father LeBron in Lakers Victory

Bronny James made history during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 119-103 triumph over the Golden State Warriors, completing the first son-to-father assist in NBA history. At 19, the young player executed a key pass to his father, LeBron, who sprinted down the court for an unchallenged dunk. LeBron, 41, added 26 points to the Lakers’ win, while Bronny contributed 10 points and three assists.

The Lakers secured their fourth-place standing in the Western Conference, with the Warriors trailing in 10th. Both teams have already earned playoff berths, set to begin on 18 April. In contrast, the Brooklyn Nets faced setbacks, losing to the Indiana Pacers 123-94 and the Chicago Bulls 119-108, as the New York Knicks edged the Boston Celtics 112-106, intensifying competition in the Eastern Conference.

Brooklyn Nets and Other Contenders

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors defeated the Miami Heat 128-114, and the Houston Rockets overcame the Philadelphia 76ers 113-102, bolstering their playoff hopes. In games featuring teams already eliminated from contention, the Pacers’ rout of the Nets and the Bulls’ win over the Wizards underscored the depth of the league’s matchups.

“This moment is surreal,” said a Lakers coach after the game, reflecting on the James family’s historic partnership. “Seeing Bronny and LeBron play together is a testament to legacy and talent.”
