Primrose Hill Stabbing Victim Identified as Finbar Sullivan
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries after being stabbed on Primrose Hill. The incident occurred near a scenic overlook at the popular North London location, following reports of a confrontation just after 18:30 BST on Tuesday.
Emergency services arrived at the scene but were unable to save Sullivan, who passed away before reaching the hospital. Another individual in his early twenties was also found with knife wounds on Regent’s Park Road, though their condition remains stable. Authorities are seeking public assistance, including footage or visuals from the area, to aid their investigation.
“Finbar’s family has endured a heartbreaking tragedy, and we are offering our support during this difficult period,” said Det Insp Andy Griffin, who is directing the inquiry. “Our efforts are focused on multiple leads, and the park’s high foot traffic suggests there may be valuable testimony from those who witnessed the event.”
No suspects have been apprehended yet, but police are reviewing CCTV recordings, interviewing eyewitnesses, and collecting physical evidence to determine the sequence of events. The force emphasized the importance of community involvement in solving the case.
